Delicious and customizable Gyro Bowls featuring seasoned meat, fluffy rice, fresh vegetables, and creamy tzatziki sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef or lamb, sliced
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  2. Mix Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt to make the tzatziki sauce.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the seasoned meat. Cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Layer the rice, cooked meat, diced cucumber, tomato, and onion in a serving bowl.
  5. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce.
