  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken or beef broth (or vegetable broth for a plant-based option)
  • 1 egg
  • ยผ cup parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. Mix together the whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and peanut butter using a wooden spoon or spatula.
  3. Add the chicken or beef broth and the egg, stirring until a smooth, firm dough forms.
  4. If using, stir in the parsley until evenly distributed.
  5. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ยฝ inch thick.
  6. Use cookie cutters to cut into fun shapes, combining scraps and rerolling as needed.
  7. Place the treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crunchy.
  9. Let cool completely before serving.
