Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pita bread
  • Lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • Tzatziki sauce or Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the ground chicken, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper, cooking until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Warm the pita bread.
  5. Assemble by filling each pita with the cooked chicken mixture, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and a dollop of tzatziki sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.
