- 1 package orange Jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 prepared cookie pie crust
Instructions
- Dissolve the orange Jello in 1 cup of boiling water and whisk until completely dissolved.
- Add 1 cup of cold water to the Jello mixture and set aside to cool slightly.
- Pour 1 cup of heavy cream into a separate large bowl, add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and beat until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cooled Jello mixture until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared cookie pie crust and smooth the top.
- Place it in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes (4 hours) until set.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
For added creaminess, serve with a dollop of whipped cream and orange zest on top. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream.
