Instructions
- Combine whole wheat flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl, whisking thoroughly.
- Whisk together milk and egg in another bowl. If using, add the banana or peanut butter.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, lightly greasing if necessary.
- Pour small amounts of batter onto the skillet, cooking until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Let the pancakes cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
Serve plain or with dog-friendly treats. Cut into smaller pieces for easy munching. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for about three months.
