- 1 cup sweet potato, cooked and mashed

- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (unsweetened and unsalted)
- 1/4 cup water (as needed)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the mashed sweet potato, rolled oats, whole wheat flour, peanut butter, and egg in a mixing bowl.
- Mix until well combined, adding water as needed to reach a batter-like consistency.
- If using, mix in honey.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
Store leftover cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days or freeze slices for up to 3 months.
